National School of Drama Bengaluru Chapter offers a one year intensive course in Acting. It will commence from 25th August 2014 at Guru Nanak Bhawan, Bengaluru. Applications are invited from the candidates of southern region (Karnataka,Seemandhara, Telangana, Tamilnadu, Kerala, and Union
territories of Puduchery and Lakshadweep). The total seats are 20. It is mandatory for all the selected students to stay in the hostel provided by the Bengaluru Chapter.
Essential qualifications:
1. The minimum qualification shall be Graduation or equivalent degree in any discipline from a recognized university. It is relaxable in the case of extraordinary talented candidates from the tribal, folk and traditional performing art families.
2. Sufficient knowledge of theatre with participation in atleast 4 productions.
Age :Minimum 20 & Maximum 30 years as on 1st August 2014 All selected students shall be awarded a scholarship of Rs.4500/- per month. Applications along with relevant documents may be sent latest by 13th August 2014 to the Camp Director on the prescribed form which may be downloaded from our site
