Chennai: University of Warwick Assistant director have to visit Anna University on september 1st.
Mr. Jeremy Burgess, Assistant Director, Head of International Student Recruitment, University of Warwick, UK is visiting Anna University on 01st September 2014. He is giving a brief presentation to the students about the higher studies including an overview of  the university’s strengths, portfolio, entry criteria, research, fees, scholarships, employability  etc. in the University of Warwick, UK. The presentation will be held at the Hall of Guiness’68, Department of Manufacturing Engineering, College of Engineering, Guindy Campus, Anna University on 01.09.2014 (Monday) from 11.20 a.m.  First come first served. Seating capacity: 90. 

scholarship under National Overseas Scholarship

Applications are invited for award of scholarship under National Overseas
Scholarship/Passage Grant for Other Backward Class (OBC) students for the year 2014-15.

The scholarship covers fees etc. and there will be 25 numbers of scholarships to be
awarded in the fields of Engineering, Management, Agricultural Science and Medicine.
There will also be five number of passage grants to be given.
2. The scholarships are for pursuing study at Master and Ph.D. level only.
3. The last date receipt of application shall be 30 days from the date on which
advertisement is published in the Employment News.

CBSE Merit Scholarship Scheme for Single Girl Child

It is brought to the notice of all concerned that the scheme and

(i) CBSE Merit Scholarship Scheme for Single Girl Child
(ii) Central Sector Scheme of Scholarship (CSSS-2014 sponsored by
MHRD) for College and university students.

1500 SCHOLARSHIPS (TRUST FUND) For DIFFERENTLY-ABLED STUDENTS 
FOR ACADEMIC YEAR 2013-14 


National Handicapped Finance and Development Corporation (NHFDC), for and on behalf of Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, Govt. of India, invites applications from Students with Disabilities for award of
Scholarships under the Scholarship Scheme (Trust Fund) :-


Under this scheme, 1500 Scholarships will be awarded to eligible students with disabilities for degree and post graduate level professional and technical courses from recognized institutions in India.

30% scholarships will be reserved for girls, which will be transferable to male students in case of non- availability of female candidates.


Applicants may apply any time in academic year for scholarship under this scheme. Scholarships will be awarded on quarterly basis for the applications received in preceding quarter. Under this
scheme, an advance copy of application should also be submitted online (www.nhfdc.nic.in) by the candidate.
